MONSOON PLANTATION DRIVE

The University of Faisalabad has always laid great emphasis on environmental sustainability. Following Prime Minister Imran Khan "Monsoon Plantation Drive," the University of Faisalabad launched a tree-planting campaign on August 10th, 2002. Muhammad Ali, Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad, and Mian Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman BoG, planted trees on the Engineering Campus during the campaign's inaugural event. TUF Rector Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman and Additional Registrar Madam Zahid Maqbool planted seedlings at the university hostel. The faculty and students highly encouraged this initiative.
