The University of Faisalabad (TUF) is committed to ensuring universal access to clean water and sanitation. The university has installed advanced water filtration plants to provide safe drinking water to all students and staff, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases. In collaboration with Madinah Teaching Hospital and the Department of Biotechnology, TUF organizes awareness campaigns on hygiene and sanitation and distributes sanitary products to vulnerable women across Pakistan. The university promotes water conservation through initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and safe reuse for gardening. By improving water efficiency, promoting hygiene education, and managing water resources sustainably, TUF actively contributes to achieving SDG 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation by 2030.
