INTRODUCTION TO PLASTIC ANALYSIS

On Thursday, November 18th, 2021, Associate Professor Dr Prof DrNasir Shafiq conducted a Webinar lecture to faculty and students of the Department of Civil Engineering on "Introduction to Plastic Analysis." He addressed the elasticity/plasticity of materials to do better analyses based on the situations. He explained the plastic mechanism of a rectangular section using both practical and theoretical examples. He also discussed why we should select a technique of analysis. He highlighted the many section parameters discovered during the examination of chosen structures. There was a question and answer session at the end of the talk.
