WORKSHOP “UNDERSTANDING RESEARCH”

The Office of Research, Industrialization and Commercialization (ORIC) at The University of Faisalabad hosted a discussion series for researchers and academic members in the Engineering wing. Dr Sohail Jabbar, Associate Professor in the Department of Computational Sciences, was the guest speaker. He elaborated on the concept of research. While explaining the idea of research, he stated that not every task done is classified as research, not every conclusion is worthy of publication, and not every venue is suitable for publishing the research work. It is always challenging to steer tasks in the appropriate direction, from completed work to availability for employees.   Faculty members attended the discussion, while a few members participated online. In attendees in their feedback said that session was very fruitful for researchers and other academic members to improve their research ideas.
