Prof Dr Yasmin Rashid, Punjab Provincial Minister for Health, attended the inauguration ceremony of optometry labs at TUF on August 11, 2021. Speaking at the event, Dr Yasmin Rashid stated that the University of Faisalabad has demonstrated significant academic quality and infrastructure improvement in a brief period and appreciated the crucial role of the private health sector in combating the pandemic. Mr. Ayub Bukhari, Assistant Commissioner Faisalabad, Mr. Muhammad Haider, Chairman Board of Governors TUF, Prof Dr Aamir Ali Choudhary, Principal UMDC/Head Department of Optometry and Ms. Zahida Maqbool, Additional Registrar, also attended the occasion.
