SMOKE-FREE POLICY

The University of Faisalabad is declared as smoke-free Campus. Any type of smoking is strictly prohibited into the Campus and University has zero tolerance Policy on any avidness. Moreover, University arranged lectures and posted campaigns to aware public about the harmful effect of Tobacco on health as well as environment.

     

 

RENEWAL OF MOU WITH DRUG ADVISORY TRAINING HUB (DATH)

Three years ago, the Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH), a non-governmental organization that works to combat drug misuse, certified the University of Faisalabad (TUF) as a smoke and drug free institution.  Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions was renewed in the presence of Mr Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman Board of Governors and Mr Zahid Hussain, Commissioner of the Faisalabad Division. The agreement was extended in an effort to prevent a young person from using drugs, which is rising alarmingly in Pakistan. Chairman Board of Governors Mr Muhammad Haider Ameen stressed on the need of teamwork in raising awareness of the negative consequences of drug use among young people. The University of Faisalabad efforts to protect our youngsters from hazardous diseases were recognized by the commissioner.
