International Colloboration:

Collaboration with Indonesian Universities

H.E.Adam Mulawarman Tugio, Indonesian ambassador to Pakistan, paid a visit to the University of Faisalabad along with Mr Pramudya Sulaksono, Mr Syarif Shahbudin, Mr Heryanto, Mr Muladi Mughni, and Mr Nadeem Akram. This visit aims to promote and enhance the academic relationship between Indonesia and Pakistan. Miss Dr Hurbik Katsiaryna, Department Head of the English Department, hosted the session. Chairman BOG Muhammad Haider Amin, Ma’am Zahida Maqbool and department heads gave presentations about the University. Adam .M Tugio inaugurated the new Auditorium of the university, “Mukhtar Auditorium”. Later the Guest of honor H.E.Adam Mulawarman Tugio distributed the scholarship certificate among students. H.E.Adam Mulawarman Tugio emphasis on “education importance in empowering students to get a better understanding in various fields. He further said that” we share the same Islamic values. We are Muslim countries”.  He cited Muhammad Ali Jinnah and compared the Quaid-e-Azam black cap to the traditional Indonesian hat. He encouraged students to travel and study in Indonesia. He felt proud to be a part of this auspicious event. He stated that he is inspired by the fact that many women are involved in engineering, technology, and mathematics disciplines, which he identifies as Pakistan's future faces. He offered Indonesian language courses for bachelor's, master and doctorate programs and exchange programs to conduct research in Indonesian Universities. He ended his speech by saying that “the future depends on you, the next generations; you are the honor of the future.” He congratulated the University of Faisalabad for empowering the students. H.E. Adam M Tugio visited campus facilities and planted a plant on the University's football ground.

 

 

 

Collaboration with Malaysia Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP)

The University of Faisalabad (TUF) signed an MOU with Malaysia Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). The MOU was signed by Prof Ts Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Bin Abdul Mutlib, Vice-Chancellor and CEO of UTP, and Rector TUF Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur Rahman. According to the terms of the MoU, both universities are committed to collaborating to improve their respective scientific, technological, engineering, and educational skills, as well as to develop valuable programs. Prof Ts Dr Mohamed Ibrahim and Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, welcomed the opportunity to exchange researchers, students, academic knowledge, and resources, stating that will improve the research and education processes at both universities.

 

 

Collaboration With The Budi Luhur Institute Of Health Sciences, Indonesia

The University of Faisalabad (TUF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Budi Luhur Institute of Health Sciences, Indonesia, in the presence of H.E Adam Mulawarman Tugio, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Pakistan. The MOU was signed by Sri Wahyuni, President of The Budi Luhur Institute of Health Sciences, and Rector TUF Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur Rahman. According to this MoU, both institutions agreed to partner up to promote cooperation and education training, as well as cooperation to expand knowledge and intellectual development. The objective of this agreement is to encourage the interchange of academics, researchers, academic personnel, students, educational material, research findings, and publications and begin cooperative research initiatives, primarily in the field of health sciences. H.E Adam Mulawarman Tugio praised the activity and proclaimed it beneficial to both faculty and students.

 

 

Collaboration with International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia

The University of Faisalabad (TUF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Cultural Communication Center Malaysia (ICCCM) in the presence of Loo Hui Ann, Director of ICCCM, and Rector TUF, Prof Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman. The purpose of this MOU is to promote intellectual and educational partnership based on equality and reciprocity, as well as to strengthen links and mutual understanding between both universities. Both parties decided to collaborate on a variety of Higher Education and Research and Innovation activities in their mutual interests.
