Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Start-up Ecosystem Leading to Technology Driven Manufacturing
The first session of the Faculty Development program series organized by QEC on the topic “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Start-up Ecosystem Leading to Technology Driven Manufacturing” held at Saleem Campus, TUF. The resource person for the program was Prof Nauman Ahmad Zaffar, Director, National Incubation Center LUMS Lahore. The program was designed to provide faculty members with a comprehensive understanding of the start-up ecosystem and the role of technology-driven manufacturing in driving innovation and entrepreneurship. Prof Dr Nauman Ahmad Zaffar delivered a series of lectures on the key concepts and trends in the field, and provided practical tips and strategies for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the academic setting. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in group discussions which allowed them to share their own experiences and learn from the experiences of their peers. Resource Person shared the real-life example of National incubation center Lahore startup idea on electric vehicles. He shared with the participant design, assembly mechanism and battery implementation in electric rickshaws and briefly explained the concept of battery swapping stations (BSS).
