Soup Kitchen

Soup Kitchens are also organised with volunteers amongst students where food is offered usually for free or sometimes at a below-market price. This fosters a sense of compassion & empathy amongst students to be considerate towards the less privileged.

Departmental Soup Kitchen can be seen as a small-scale initiative within the university community that aligns with SDG 2 by promoting nutritious food choices, highlighting the importance of a well-rounded diet, and promoting a culture of sustainable and healthy eating practices.
