Promotion of Sustainable and Locally Sourced Food on Campus”

The university of Faisalabad organized a Garden Training Program to provide local farmers and food producers with practical knowledge and skills related to sustainable agriculture. The program included sessions on organic farming, compost preparation, water-efficient irrigation, and eco-friendly cultivation techniques. Participants were guided on improving soil fertility and increasing crop productivity through sustainable methods. This initiative aimed to enhance food security and promote environmentally responsible farming practices, aligning with SDG 2 – Zero Hunger.
